"I sold a house and confirmed the end date for coverage a couple times with John. A month later, I received an automated email that a payment for my home owner's policy is due and will be billed to my escrow. I contacted them via the email portal because it was outside of their regular hours. Later, they called my husband (not me?) and told him "oops" - they didn't cancel the policy but I will be getting a refund check sent to me. A week or so later, I get a call from the mortgage company telling me the refund check from State Farm is with them... Now, can someone tell me why State Farm sent the check to my old house when they have the new address since our policy is with them?"
